HEMYOCK 0 ALPHNIGTON JETS 4

On a cold morning, playing down the hill,Alphington played some good football and would have scored within 1 minute, but Hemyock keeper was in good form.Jack Bunclark opened the scoring when Sam Webber played a great pass to his feet and Jack drilled the ball home from 10yards.Ben Clancy and the impressive Ben Rooke were superb in defence and with this solid base,Jets increased their lead when Cam Hargreaves skillfully beat two players and hit a cracking shot from 20 yards that Jack Bunclark guided towards goal to make it 2-0 at half time.Playing up the hill the Jets were soon 3-0 up when a Cam Hargreaves corner found the unmarked Jack at the far post to score his 3rd of the game. George Rae covered every inch of grass from midfield, whilst keeper Ben Vanstone did well when called upon, but could do nothing when Hemyock scored from 20yards in off the crossbar. The inclusion of Massimo Vece and the speedy Tony Hutchins allowed allthe boys to participate in this good win.The fourth goal was scored by goal machine Sam Webber, when after a great pass from Ben Rooke,he beat 3 players before ramming home.Hemyock were very unlucky not to score and had a couple of very talented players.

KENTISBEARE 0 ALPHINGTON JETS 4

Again playing down the hill 1st half Alphington took the lead through Sam Webber after some good work from Cam Hargreaves.George Rae made it 2-0 with a fine individual goal.Once again Ben Clancy Mitchell and Ben Rooke looked in commanding form at the back.Playing up the hill 2nd half,George Rae scored his 2nd of the match after Jack Bunclark's shot was well saved by the keeper.Cam Hargreaves got a well deserved goal for all his trickery and effort and could of scored a couple more, but for some fine goalkeeping.Ben Vanstone denied Kentisbeare 3 times, the best being a flying dive to pluck the ball from the top corner. Both Massimo and Tony went close to increasing the lead.Credit must go to Kentisbeare for never giving up in a good spirited match.
