19th January 2008 Matchday Report

Central A 0 - 1 Alphington Rockets

Playing in an unfamiliar 9 a-side game, The Rockets were made to work hard for their win. The Rockets created several chances but were denied by some resilient defending by the Central defenders. The only goal of the game was scored by Luke White early in the second half. The Rockets continued to press the opposition and some excellent passing from Max Hammet, Harry Warren and James Dodd helped The Rockets to control the match.

Central B 0 - 4 Alphington Rockets

The Rockets started well and their ability to pass the ball well ensured this was a fairly comfortable win. The Rockets were now coming to terms with the bigger pitch and carved out several chances. James Dodd`s deflected free kick opened the scoring. After some great play from Joe Mc Kenzie and Harry Warren, Luke White was able to cross the ball over to James Dodd to tap in his second goal. Luke White then turned goal scorer to make it 3-0. In the Final few minutes James Dodd scored to completed his hat-trick.
