Alphington Rockets 1 vs. Countess Wear 1

Alphington Rockets for some reason played below their capability in this match. Their normal passing and moving football seemed to be lacking, but to the boys credit, they worked  hard for a draw, against a strong Countess Wear side. The first half was very even and although The Rockets created several chances the ball would not go into the net. However the deadlock was broken by the visitors mid-way through the first half, when the Countess Wear winger nipped in to score the first goal. James Bovey, made some outstanding saves to keep The Rockets in the game. Finally The Rockets equalised, when striker James Dodd chipped the Countess Wear keeper. Jake Murphy had another outstanding game in defence.
