The Rockets playing their first ever friendly League match were the eventual winners in this hard fought contest. The Rockets were a goal behind early in the first half when Twyford scored on the counter attack. Minutes later James Dodd whipped a high and curling corner which deceived the Twyford Keeper and went straight into the top corner. Tyyford then gained the initiative and Scored a second goal. The Second half started with both teams playing some excellent football, and it was the rockets who took their chances with Luke White scoring from close range after some good play by Jake Murphy. Joe McKenzie cleared of the line on several occasions. Further goals followed with Max Hammett nipping in at the far post to score the all important third goal. James Dodd scored his second minutes from the end.

Alphington Rockets 4 Twyford Sevens 2
A few changes to the team from the first game ensured fresh legs helped the Rockets to their second win of the Day. The Rockets took an early lead when Jake Murphy powered his way through the Sevens defence to score. The sevens then replied with a well taken goal. Alphington were awarded a penalty after the Referee adjudged the Sevens defender had handled the ball in side the Penalty area. Harry Warren took the resulting penalty which was well saved by the Sevens keeper only for Harry Warren to slot home the rebound. The goal of the game was scored by Rockets striker Will Burwood with a neat turn and powerful shot to make the score 3-1. Twyford Sevens then scored a second goal. With the score at 3-2, Thomas Prout and Garreth Blackmore defending well, Alphington Rockets created several more chances and James Dodd scored the forth to help the Rockets to three points.
