Alphington AFC - Under 8s Managed by Rob Dodd Graham White

Matchday Report 5th january 2008

Alphington Rockets 4 vs. Dawlish 0

The heavy pitch conditions did not stop The Rockets playing some very neat football. Excellent displays from Jake Murphy, James Dodd and Oliver Saunders and some tidy finishing from Luke White ensured a comfortable 4 -0 win over Dawlish. Luke White scored a hat trick and Max Hammet capped a fine performance with a goal.

Alphington Rockets 6 vs. St Martins 0

Several changes to the Rockets side and the pouring rain did not halt the Rockets to there second comfortable win of the day. Conditions were deteriorating as the minutes passed. However the Rockets continued to pass the ball well and scored some well taken goals. Luke White scored his second hat trick of the day. James Dodd helped himself to a brace and a Will Burwood goal completed the scoring. Finally St Martins deserve a mention, although The Rockets were in total control, the St Martins players never gave up.
