First half was a even encounter with neither team going close to scoring.
The first opportunity came to countess wear but James blocked well. Squeaker and M n m had half chances but 2 minutes before half time countess wear won a corner and the defence went to sleep and let their captain stroll in for an easy header.
Half Time 1-0.
Alphas started brightly in the second half and got their rewards for some good pressure with jake hopton scoring a spectacular 25 yard strike which left the keeper with no chance. Alphas kept up the pressure and good play between squeaker and M n m gave M n m the chance to cross for chip n dale to score from 6 yards out. 2-1 to Alphas!
Alphas dropped the tempo slightly and 10 minutes later they let countess wear cross and they scored on the volley. Alphas cranked up some more pressure and with jake hopton playing on the right side of midfield and josh on for ozzie the Alphas looked threatening.
Then with 10 minutes to go some good play ended up with jake getting on the ball and driving in from the corner of the box and curling the ball with outside of his foot into the far corner. 3-2!
Alphas held onto the lead with some dogged defending and then the final whistle went.
Final score 3-2 to the Alphas!!!
