Despite the gulf in size and strength the Alphas worked their socks off for 80 minutes to try and match the title favourites. For the first 30 minutes we were the better team , playing some nice passing footy but without really threatening to score.
A goal against the run of play dented our confidence slightly and two further goals just before half time put game out of reach.
we conceded again early in the second half but responded well battling on looking for a consolation goal without any luck
Credit to all 14 players for sticking at it , against a strong physical opponent
