Central Red Star 0 - 9 Alphas - 06/10/2007
Today's fixture was against Central Red Star, a local derby, and yes it proved to be a derby day .... for Sam Darby, hiting 5 of our 9 goals. 1 more goal and it would have cost his dad 30 notes for a double hat-trick ...
A great performance from back to front, Thorpy jnr playing at right back scoring from just over the half way line ... his first goal (a proud day for Thorpy senior).
By half time we were 4-0 up and still hungry for goals. We changed a few things around and put the Handyman into midfield, which worked well as he scored 2 fine goals. Benno came in with the other goal to finnish a fine display.
4 games, 4 wins, 30+ goals & second in the league with a game in had, which we will play this Saturday.

Just a note, if anyone from the council reads this can you please supply all teams with poo bags as we are running out and we still have 14 games left!!
