Latest Match News: Alphington 2 - 1 Westexe Rangers 1st December 2007 The Alphas continued with their recent good form by beating their local rivals Westexe Rangers 2-1 at grace road.Alphington had to work hard in the first half playing against a very strong wind and a very good Westexe team but to their credit they went in at half time with the score still at 0-0.
With the wind at their backs Alphington went at Westexe and managed to open up a two goal lead with the goals coming from Callum Gent and Ben Stone.Westexe managed to pull goal back with five minutes to go but were unable to break down a very good Alphington defence to force an equilizer.
