Alphington AFC - Under 12s Managed by Steve Fairchild, Darren Brooks & Martin Gent

Latest Match News:
Alphas 1 - 4 Lympstone 13th October 2007

The Alphas up and down start to the season continued when they were beaten 4-1 at home to Lympstone in a very entertaining game. The Alphas had the first good chance of the game with Jamie Fairchild missing by inches from well outside the box,Lympstone took the lead 10 minutes before the break after some bad defending by the Alphas.
The second half was much like the first with a lot of good attacking play from both sides,Alphington managed to draw level 15 minutes before the end with top goal scorer Josh Hole scoring from the spot for the second week on the trot, this spurred Lympstone into life and they dominated the remainder of the game scoring 3 goals in this time to give them a hard fought victory over a very determined Alphington team.

A big well done to the match referee Martin Gent who a great job under some pressure from the opposing teams bench.

Don't forget we have the forum where you can go and chat with all your football pals. You don't have to be an Alpha fan or player, all footie fans and supporters are welcome at the Alphas forum.
