Quarter Finals
The Alphas crashed out of the cup losing in the quarter finals for the second year on the trot to Lympstone.Alphington started the better of the two teams and took the lead 10 minutes into the game with Ben Stone scoring with a fine strike from the edge of the box giving the keeper no chance.

The Alphas had a couple more good chances to extend their lead but it was Lympstone who scored next when they were awarded a penalty for hand ball against skipper Sam Stewart,Lympstone captain scored from the resulting penalty kick,Lympstone then took the lead just before half time when the Alphas defence were anable to clear a scramble from a corner kick.

.Lympsone took control of the game at the start of the second half and scored two more goals leaving the Alphas no chance of getting back into the game but to their credit they kept going and scored again near the end of the game with Piers Maclauchlan scoring his first goal for four months
