Alphington went down 3-1 away to top of the league Buckland in a very tight match played on the all weather surface at Ashburton college.

The Alphas should have had a penalty in the very first minute when Jack Webber was taken down from behind but the home ref must have been the only person there not to see the foul and waved play on.

Buckland went in front just before half time and doubled their lead just after the break.

The home side scored again near the end of the game with Alphington's goal coming from Reece Stevens seconds before the final whistle..
