Under 12's - Saturday 5th January 2008 Broadclyst 0 - 2 Alphas This was our first match back after the Christmas break. We started slowly and seemed to make hard work of the play although pitch conditions weren't ideal. Broadclyst had a couple of early chances, hitting both the crossbar & post. Alphas picked up their game with Jack Webber working hard in midfield and Mitchell Brooks defending well.
Josh Hole put the Alphas ahead with a goal just before half time. Shortly after the start of the second half, an early substitution with Ben Stone coming on led him to have a great chip over the Broadclyst Keeper to put the Alphas 2-0 up. Alphas continued to defend well throughout maintaining their clean sheet. A great start to 2008 lads. Keep it up! Man of the Match - Mitchell Brooks
