Alphington AFC - Under 11s Managed by Kevin May & Tony Towl

Latest News:Alphington Tigers 8 - 0 West Hill Hornets 02/02/08

An excellent team performance from start to finish. The moment the whistle blew we commanded the game by playing the ball around with confidence. Excellent displays from James Lowton and Dan Smith in midfield forced mistakes by West Hill. All season we have been telling the boys to play the way they are facing and support each other and this was the day it all happened.

The goals started to flow after a few minutes with Cameron Martin, Dan Smith and Thomas Allen putting us in control after only 10 minutes. By far the goal of the game came from James Lowton following some superb football which involved almost every member of the team which saw us win the ball in our own penalty area and string 6or 7 passes together culminating in a shot from the edge of the box which fizzed into the bottom right corner.
Shortly after the break an own goal extended the lead.

Jacob Towl produced another strong display and capped his performance with his first goal of the season. Cameron Martin continued to have chances and it wasn't long before he completed his hat-rick with 2 fine strikes.

All in all a great team performance which will be hard to beat.

Man of the Match Dan Smith for his approach football. Cameron Martin for a great Hat-rick
