Alphington AFC - Under 10s Managed by Russell Cram & Martin Allen

Latest Match News from the Under 10s  13th October 2007

Alphas 0 - 1 Twyford Spartans (Inter)
Alphington
Athletic went down by the only goal of the game against a strong Twyford Inter team, but they played some excellent football and felt they deserved at least a draw from the game. Michael Southard had a great game in goal, Sam Allen was outstanding in defense, and Richard Warwick did well on his debut, but the Alphas could not quite find the finishing touch to some neat approach play after falling behind to the early goal.

Alphas 4 - 4 Twyford Spartans (Milan)
In the 2nd game against Tyford Milan the Alphas got off to a good start when Jake Moxey fired across the goalkeeper following a fine pass from Matthew Cram. Tyford then hit back to take a 2-1 lead before Daniel Prout finished powerfully to bring the teams level.  Twyford looked like they were going to win the game with a good 2nd half display to take a 4-2  lead with just 2 minutes to go, but first Connor Garmendia with a long range effort and then a fine finish from James Probert brought the teams level.
