Alphington AFC - Under 10s Managed by Russell Cram & Martin Allen

Latest Match News from the Under 10s

Alphas 2 - 2 Feniton Hornets

Alphington Athletic thought out a 2-2 draw with Feniton Hornets, who were much improved from the side we played earlier in the season. James Probert put the Alphas ahead, but despite some good build up play they were unable to add to the tally in the first half.

Feniton came out strongly in the 2nd half and shot into a 2-1 lead before Probert added his second late on to earn Alphington a draw. Elliott Hughes had a good game in defence with Richard Warwick outstanding in midfield.

Alphas 0 - 1 Honiton

In the second game against Honiton Alphington put in an improved performance and were unclucky not to take the lead when a fine free kick from James Probert hit the cross bar. The game was end to end with both teams creating chances before Honiton took the lead.

Alphington continued to press with Mattie Cram and Sam Allen impressive in midfield, but they could not find the finish to bring the sides level. Some fine goalkeeping from Michael Southard and good defending from Billy Worth stopped Honiton from adding to their goal.
