Alphington 4 - 3 Plymstock 17th November 2007

The Alphas edged this entertaining match at the Chronicles after taking a seventh minute lead when Leigh Atkins flicked the ball into the path of Ryan Leverton who fired home superbly from 25 yards.

The Us levelled on the half-hour when Gavin West sidefooted home from close-range but the hosts restored their lead on the hour when Leverton netted his second. Nigel Yates headed home five minutes later for the visitors who again fell behind in the 75th minute when Lawrence Khoo raced clear before slotting home.

Again, the Us refused to lie down and substitute Phil Burgoyne headed them back on terms 11 minutes from time, but once again the home side showed great character and secured the victory a minute later when Scott Forster scored from close range.
