Alphington 1 - 3 Galmpton 23rd February 2008

Galmpton secured their first victory in 2008 after an impressive display at the Chronicles saw them inflict on the Alphas their fourth straight league and cup defeat.

The away side took a 25th minute lead when Ty Hawken's lay-off enabled Craig Dandridge to volley superbly home.

Lawrence Khoo levelled for the Alphas on the stroke of half-time when he smashed the ball home following Danny Tyrrell's long pass but the visitors regained the lead in the 65th minute through substitute John Easterbrook.

Galmpton made the three points safe five minutes later when Steve Parkin exquisitely curled home a free-kick over he wall and into the bottom corner of the Alphington net.
